STORIE DI CANI E DI AMORE di Cinzia Scarpa

How many times do we feel the need to share with someone what is happening to us at that moment of our life?

Sometimes it happens that we look around and do not find anyone who really convinces us to open our hearts to share what happens to us. The reason lies in the fact that maybe we are content with mere superficial knowledge in our life, but it is equally true that often it is we who avoid showing our vulnerability to the people around us because it is safer, more comfortable. In the latter case, to make up for this lack, we sometimes decide to take a pet and in particular a Dog with whom to live our daily life, safe that he will reserve us unconditional love in exchange for the care we dedicate to him. Sure, but why is the Dog usually preferred among all pets? The reasons are many, for example the sympathy, the cuddles that reserve us, the constant presence, but the main one of all is that this animal is a being intelligent who manages to feel great emotions that he immediately communicates to us. We raise him and we are calm because "He is" in our life and for him we become the center of the universe because we feed him, take him for a walk, clean him, care for him. It becomes an important member of our family where it occupies a well-deserved prominence. Having a Dog is a wealth, as it teaches us to take care of a living being, to be responsible, to understand that there are not only us, but that there are also others whose needs we must take into account. Having a Dog helps us to be sensitive, to remove all those superstructures behind which we usually hide in order to feel stronger. Together with our Dog we do not need anything but ourselves, he knows us and remains close to us even in the most demanding moments of our life, continuing to love us "always and despite everything ". Yet our Dog must not be considered only in terms of what we receive from him, but above all it is necessary to love and know, as well as respect, his character and habits. He is able to make great sacrifices in order to defend us, protect us or even just to continue to be close to us, as the stories told in this manuscript  demonstrate, and in return he requires only our attention and our affection. The Dog is a to be special, just look him in the eyes and you understand him immediately because in them you can see his Pure Soul.

MANGIA SANO, VIVI BENE - CONOSCERE LE PROPRIETA' PER SCEGLIERE GLI ALIMENTI by Cinzia Scarpa

Cinzia says: "I love good food, I love cooking and I love having friends at dinner with whom I can enjoy the dishes I prepare. I am a very curious person, I always want to learn new recipes, do new experiments in the kitchen to enrich the my wealth of experience and satisfy my diners.

I admit it ... I am definitely a "good fork" and above all I love sweets, and for this reason I try to choose the correct foods that nourish my body, but without weighing it down or damaging it.

I am deeply convinced that in the kitchen it is necessary to eat and at the same time range between as many foods as possible, because each of them contains fundamental components for our health. Furthermore, depriving oneself of food, always following slimming diets, then leads to a negative state of mind which, due to always unsatisfied desires, leads to a sad life. For this reason I try to observe some small precautions, as well as naturally compensate for my little gluttony by accompanying them with healthy physical exercise that I perform punctually every morning.

I am very interested in food in all its aspects: its composition, its taste, its history, its legends, its different uses in the kitchen, its healthy or deleterious effects on the body.

It's amazing how much there is always to discover on this topic, and how incredibly interesting this topic is! Considering all foods also from a historical as well as nutritional point of view increases our culture.

In this treatise I will try to share this passion of mine with you."

THE GIFT OF SILENCE by Kankyo Tannier - A minute of silence can be magical. Suspending all activities, standing there doing nothing for a few seconds seems to stop the flow of time. A different space opens up, the contours of the world are clearer and, as the author explains in this enlightening book, we discover thoughts and truths capable of improving our lives. Silence favors concentration because it calms the mind, and sometimes not expressing an opinion immediately, not responding straight away to what seems to us a provocation, not giving free rein to complaints and recriminations can make annoyances and conflicts melt like snow in the sun. There is no need for a retreat in a monastery, explains the author, a Buddhist nun, to exercise silence and benefit from its virtues. The cure of silence teaches, in fact, with lightness and a pinch of poetry, to find calm, open mind, awareness even in everyday life, and to bring our emotions back into balance. What else to say about this book Sempreunagioia® ...? Simply nothing!

THE LITTLE PRINCE by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - It tells the story of an airplane pilot who crashes in the Sahara desert and meets a child who asks him to draw a sheep. After many efforts the pilot succeeds and slowly manages to make friends with the child (little prince) who tells him that he is the only inhabitant of a distant asteroid on which there are three volcanoes and a small rose that he takes care of. . The little prince has traveled from asteroid 325 to 330 and has met many strange characters (a drunkard who drinks only to forget the shame of drinking, a businessman who counts the stars all day convinced that they are his, a vain who asks to be admired and applauded for no reason etc.). The Little Prince also goes to Planet Earth where he meets a fox. "Come and play with me", the little prince proposed to her, I am so sad ... "" I cannot play with you ", said the fox," I am not tame. "" Ah! sorry, "said the little prince." What does it mean to tame? "" It is something long forgotten. It means creating bonds. "Create bonds?" "Sure," said the fox. "Until now, for me, you are nothing but a little boy equal to a hundred thousand children. And I do not need you. And neither do you need me. I am only a fox equal to a hundred thousand foxes for you. you tame me, we will need each other. You will be unique in the world for me, and I will be unique in the world for you. " "My life is monotonous. I hunt chickens, and men hunt me. All chickens look alike, and all men look alike. And so I'm bored. But if you tame me, mine life will be illuminated. I will know a sound of footsteps that will be different from all the others. The other footsteps make me hide under the ground. Yours, will make me come out of the den, like a music. And then, look! See, down there, Wheat fields? I don't eat bread and wheat, it's useless to me. Wheat fields remind me of nothing. And that's sad! But you have golden hair. Then it will be wonderful when you tame me . The wheat, which is golden, will make me think of you. And I will love the sound of the wind in the wheat ... ". The fox was silent and looked at the little prince for a long time: "Please ... tame me," he said. "Willingly," said the little prince. We consider this writing Sempreunagioia® because it speaks of the important values of life.

THE CALM of Chuang-Tzu - "The quiet of the wise is not simple inertia: he is quiet because he welcomes everything." The precious teaching of one of the great fathers of Chinese culture and thought. Founder, in the fourth century BC, of the Taoist philosophy. How to conquer the calm of the spirit, maintain a world of peace and recover cosmic harmony beyond the surface of conflicts. We consider this book Sempreunagioia® because calmness is the secret to being able to live a full and satisfying life wisely.

LUISA SPAGNOLI - THE LADY OF KISSES by Maria Letizia Putti - We suggest you to read the biography of this incredible woman, certainly Sempreunagioia®. Luisa Sargentini, born in Perugia in 1877 from a modest family (father a fishmonger and a housewife mother) married Annibale Spagnoli at a very young age and had three children. Luisa and Annibale produce sugared almonds in their grocery store, but in 1907 together with Francesco Buitoni and Leone Ascoli they opened a small company, Perugina, with fifteen employees. During the First World War, Luisa found herself managing the factory alone, bringing it to have more than one hundred employees when the war was over. In 1923 her husband Annibale Spagnoli retires from the company, while Luisa continues to manage it together with Giovanni Buitoni, the son of her partner, with whom she will live a deep and reserved love affair that will last until her death. At the end of the First World War he dedicated himself to the project of breeding angora rabbits, making wool without mistreating the animals. He opens in the suburb of Santa Lucia "L'Angora Spagnoli", a workshop where he makes shawls, boleros and fashionable garments. She receives the report at the Milan Fair as "Excellent Products" which leads her to ask all breeders to send her all the combed hair by post. He will receive that of at least two hundred and fifty thousand rabbits. An exceptional, creative and enterprising woman, Luisa Spagnoli was an Italian entrepreneur who invented the famous Bacio Perugina. He founded the first nursery school in the Fontivegge plant (considered the most advanced in Europe in the confectionery sector), and the shop within the company to allow dependent women to shop after work. She died in 1935 in Paris, where Giovanni Buitoni had taken her, following a tumor in the throat, without being able to see the success of his creations. The children will continue his work, giving rise to the chain of stores so famous in the world.

THE FLOW OF LOVE - by Krishnananda and Amana - “It is not luck that makes it possible for us to create and sustain a lasting love connection. It is the understanding that deep intimacy is a journey that requires awareness, preparation and inner work. " We all want to have complete, fulfilling relationships that make us feel alive, loved and respected. And yet the opposite often happens; we feel disappointed, resigned or prisoners of bonds - of a couple but also of friendship, with our parents or our children - superficial, or even conflictual. What really doesn't work? Why? How can we re-establish the flow of love with the people who matter most in our life? Krishnananda and Amana lead us to discover how we hinder love towards ourselves and others and, at the same time, provide the tools so that the solution to these problems can emerge from awareness and open the way to the kind of love. that many of us are looking for. With a unique and original approach, the authors share their understanding and experience, matured and tested by their long union as a couple and the seminar and counseling activity that has engaged them around the globe for over twenty-five years. We will learn to know more deeply our behavioral patterns in love; to accept and love each other, with our natural differences; to find fulfillment in being alone; to interpret and express what we feel, becoming clearer and more assertive of our boundaries and needs. With only one goal: to learn to love in order to live in joy. We consider this book Sempreunagioia® because it talks about Love and Awareness which, if present, allow us to live a happy life.

WALT DISNEY - by Neal Gabler - With his work Walt Disney has marked the history of the twentieth century, has shaped the collective imagination, has impressed directors and artists, but also industrialists and heads of state. With his characters and his stories he embodied the spirit of the American dream, of the self made man: a man who started from nothing who made a dream come true, a man who made himself and who at the same time promoted cooperation, who was always looking for the best minds to forge a creative alliance that led him to give life to dozens of characters, to experiment with new ways of telling and arousing emotions, in both children and adults. But Walt Disney was not just a brilliant designer; he was above all an entrepreneur, the creator of a company, the founder of an empire that over the years has expanded from cinema to publishing, from television to amusement parks, from merchandising to the new frontiers of interactive entertainment. To found the studios that bear his name he had to face sacrifices, crises and failures, but he was a tenacious and determined man and never stopped fighting for his dream. The story of the entrepreneur Walt Disney and his company is the story of an advancement, a continuous construction and a realization: that of happiness, strong in the belief that "if you can dream it, you can do it". We believe that it is not necessary to explain why we believe this book, but above all Walt Disney an Sempreunagioia® Man, you agree with us, right?

THE WOUND OF THE UNLOVED by Peter Schellenbaum - What do phrases like: “Nobody loves me…”, “It went wrong this time too…”, “Was he the wrong person” ?. They are the sign of an old wound that has never healed and is still painful, the imprint of a need for love that has remained unsatisfied. Many of us feel misunderstood, alone, abandoned, unloved or loved too little. Feelings that often have distant origins: in an unhappy love experience, perhaps lived in childhood, which took root deeply influencing all subsequent emotional relationships. Through the narration of countless cases and the extraordinary insights that derive from them, Peter Schellenbaum suggests how to thoroughly analyze and bring this experience to the surface, in order to be able to free from it and recover all our capacity to love and be happily loved. We consider this book Sempreunagioia® because it talks about a journey to increase one's awareness and greater knowledge of oneself by offering ideas to solve problems of our unconscious.

THE BOOK OF WISDOM of Osho - The practice presented in this book, called "mental training in seven points" has been transmitted for about a thousand years, without solution of continuity and, today as yesterday, it proves to be an indispensable tool to harmonize and not get lost in the chaos of the world. Paradoxically, the instructions that Atisha gave to Tibet around the year one thousand acquire an exquisite timeliness as he simply teaches to respond to the solicitations of life, taking root in oneself, more intimately and more deeply ... in this way one can use the dark context of the world to externalize more and more, and with greater clarity, one's true nature. Thus, simply by living, life becomes a journey of awareness, an evolutionary path in which one ascends, step by step, to the supreme peak of enlightenment. A practical book, therefore: from Atisha's words we move on to the reader's practice, comforted by Osho's comment that helps to graft this exercise of conscience into the contemporary world, intervening and overcoming the mental confusion that accompanies us today. This is a Sempreunagioia® book because it demonstrates how, by training the mind to welcome positive thoughts and reject negative ones, it is possible to live a full and satisfying life.

MADAME CURIE A BIOGRAPHY by Eve Curie - Naturally tells the life of Marie Curie, the first woman winner of two Nobel Prizes: the first in 1903 for Physics together with her husband Pierre Curie and Antoine Henry Becquerel and the second in 1911 for Chemistry for having discovered the Radium and the Polonium (to which he personally chose the name to pay homage to his land, Poland). Marie Curie was also the first woman to teach at the Sorbonne University. We consider this paper Sempreunagioia® because it is important to understand that, despite all the difficulties that may be encountered in life, if we are truly convinced that we are in the right and have a clear goal to achieve, we must not be discouraged by the difficulties, but rather we must continue straight on our way and in the end everything will be resolved in the best way.

GETTING PAST YOUR PAST by Francine Shapiro - Time does not heal all wounds. Indeed, if the traumatic event is not adequately processed, the passage of time "freezes" the memory in the brain, generating automatic reactions of suffering and discomfort. Those who, even after many years, continue to feel the same anger, the exact same pain or resentment, know it well, as if time had never passed. Traumatic experiences can overwhelm the adaptive information processing system, preventing it from making the internal connections necessary to reach an internal resolution of the experiences themselves. Pathology is considered in this approach as information stored in a non-functional way, while mental health is defined as a balance between positive memories, on the one hand, and correctly re-elaborated negative experiences, on the other. Definitely an Sempreunagioia® book that demonstrates how important it is to live the “Here and Now”!

SHANTARAM by Gregory David Roberts - Greg is a man on the run. After the separation of his wife and estrangement from his child, life has turned into an endless abyss for him. He was a young philosophy scholar and a brilliant political activist at the University of Melbourne, he became "a revolutionary who stifled his ideals in heroin", a "philosopher who lost integrity in crime", one of the "most Australian wanted men, sentenced to 19 years in prison for armed robbery, captured and escaped from Pentridge's maximum security prison. Here he is in Bombay, in the bizarre assortment of his crowd, with the papers of a certain Lindsay in his pocket and a strange hilarious joy in his heart. … In Bombay, he will become a Shantaram, a "man of God's peace", will set up a hospital for beggars and the destitute, will act in Bollywood films, will form dangerous relations with the Indian mafia. From Bombay he will leave for two wars, in Afghanistan and Pakistan, among the ranks of Islamic fighters…. “It took me a long time and I traveled almost all over the world to learn what I know about love, destiny and the choices that are made in life. To understand the essential, however, it took me a moment, while they tortured me tied to a wall. Amid the silent screams that tore through my mind I was able to understand that despite the shackles and devastation of my body I was still free: free to hate the men who were torturing me or to forgive them. It doesn't look like much, I realize. But when you have nothing else, bound by a chain that bites your flesh, such a freedom represents a boundless universe of possibilities. And the choice you make, hate or forgiveness, can become the story of your life. " “An extraordinary work of art, a novel of exceptional beauty…. Gregory David Roberts does for Bombay what Lawrence Durrell did for Alexandria or Melville for the South Seas ”. (Pat Conroy). We consider this Sempreunagioia® masterpiece because it talks about the change that each of us can make in their own life if only they want it, it talks about the choice between good and evil that each of us makes every day and talks about forgiveness towards others, but above all towards ourselves, ability to always cultivate for a peaceful life.

THE SOUL'S CODE by James Hillman - "To decipher the code of the soul and understand the character, the vocation, the destiny, in his best seller Hillman is inspired by the Platonic myth of Er: the soul of each of us chooses a "secret companion" (the Greeks called him daimon, the Latins called him genius, the Christians guardian angel). He will be the one to guide us on the earthly path. Eminent models parade under the witchcraft eye of Hillman ... His set is very crowded. Judy Garland , Joséphine Baker, Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino, Hannah Arendt, Manuel Manolete, Henry Kissinger, Richard Nixon, Truman Capote, Gandhi, Yehudi Menuhin, Elias Canetti and many others, with their childhood and maturity stories cleverly dissected by the analytical scalpel , testify apotheosis and disasters. But in the age of psychopathy the role of the protagonist belongs to Hitler: his demon has sewn on him the uniform of a prototype, the criminal of modern times. Perhaps of all times. " Definitely an Sempreunagioia® book!

THE PROPHET by Kahlil Gibran - After a few years spent in a foreign land, Almustafa (or God's chosen one), feels that the time has come to return to his native island. About to set sail, he entrusts to the people of the city of Orphalese a precious spiritual testament: a series of answers around the great themes of life and death, love and faith, good and evil. In case you have not already done so we believe it is essential to read this book. It is a true masterpiece, therefore Sempreunagioia®, because it contains considerations that must always be kept in mind if you want to live well.

FACE TO FACE WITH FEAR by Krishnananda, Amana - This book describes a journey: from co-addiction to love and meditation. According to Krishnananda and Amana, many important life events have to do with fear in some way and much of the inner growth matures by working on the fears. Fears can be of various kinds: the fear of affirming one's creativity, that of losses, punishment, criticism and judgments, the fear of rejection, loneliness, survival, the fear of exposing oneself, that of failure or of success, intimacy, confrontation, anger, the fear of losing control. Fear is omnipresent, and however much we try to ignore, overcome, remove or deny it, it has a powerful effect and remains a hidden force that can cause chronic anxiety, sabotage our creativity, make us rigid, suspicious, and can nullify our efforts. to find love. If, on the other hand, we make friends with fear, bringing it out into the open and exploring it, it can become a transforming force, opening up in us an abyss of vulnerability and self-acceptance. Starting from the theory of co-dependence and the inner child, Krishnananda and Amana therefore suggest a method to get out of fear, healing from feelings of shame and guilt, with awareness exercises combined with energy work and guided meditations. We consider this book Sempreunagioia® because it helps us to reflect on how much fear limits, and / or even blocks in the most serious cases, our life, at the same time suggesting methods to be able to overcome it definitively.

LIVING, LOVING AND LEARNING by Leo Buscaglia - Love is learned like anything else in life. It cannot be defined in words, it is rather a way of living, of being and of feeling alive. If you assimilate this concept in its fullest form, explains the author, you can eventually get the most coveted reward from life: that of being completely yourself. This is definitely an Sempreunagioia® book as it talks about Love and how fundamental it is to feel it towards yourself and everything around us. When we are full of authentic Love then our life will be splendid!

COURAGE of Osho - Courage is not the absence of fear, says Osho, in reality it is the "total" presence of fear, with the courage to face it. This book helps us understand the origin of fears and find the courage to face them. To achieve this goal, Osho teaches us to rejoice in what is new, accepting it without reserve, and to shun what we already know, the old patterns that no longer fit our way of being, but that we hold back because they reassure us and they make you feel protected. Courage can manifest itself in the daily life of each of us. Unlike those who identify him with a series of heroic acts, typical of exceptional circumstances, he focuses on the development of inner courage, which enables us to live full, complete and authentic lives. The courage to change what needs to be changed even if those around us claim the opposite. The courage to embrace the new, despite fears, in our emotional and family relationships, at work or on the path we travel in search of ourselves. This book also includes some meditation techniques and exercises that Osho has devised to help people deal with their fears. This is a wonderful book Sempreunagioia® because it teaches us that in order to live a healthy and happy life it is necessary to face any situation with full confidence in one's abilities, sometimes facing some risks, but with the awareness that we will be able to find the solution to the problems small daily hitches.

" How to create a mentality capable of performing miracles; how to overcome one's innate shyness; how to use the mind to create wellness and health; how to transmit your new awareness to others; how to give personal relationships a purpose. These are just some of the invaluable advice offered by the author in this book Sempreunagioia®. A manual that teaches you to become aware of yourself and your destiny and to implement a true spiritual revolution.

THE HIDDEN FIGURES by Margot Lee Shetterly - If John Glenn orbited the Earth and Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the Moon, part of the credit goes to the NASA scientists who in the forties, armed with a pencil, ruler and adder , elaborated the mathematical calculations that would have allowed rockets and astronauts to set out to conquer space. Among them were also Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson and Katherine Johnson. Called into service during World War II due to a shortage of male personnel, when the American aviation industry was in dire need of experts with the right skills, these three African American women left their lives to move to Virginia to work for Langley. Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory. Their contribution, although the laws on racial segregation required them not to mix with their white colleagues, proved instrumental in achieving the goal America aspired to: beat the Soviet Union in the space race and win a decisive victory in the war. cold. In this book, Sempreunagioia®, it is highlighted how determination, commitment, perseverance, clarity of the objectives to be achieved, self-confidence, are all elements for having a peaceful and satisfying life.

THE LIFE-CHANGING MAGIC OF TIDING-UP by Marie Kondo - “By tidying up the house and decreasing the things in your possession you will understand what to value in your life and you will be able to clearly distinguish the true values. But don't focus on reducing what you have or finding an effective way to organize spaces. Instead, focus on choosing things to keep based on what makes you feel good, and enjoy life by your own rules. Isn't this the real pleasure of tidying up? ”. EXCUSES BEGONE! by Wayne W. Dyer - How many excuses can there be in everyday life? It is very difficult, it is risky, it will take a long time, my family would not approve ... We are convinced that it is impossible to change, and when we think that a certain undertaking is difficult to carry out or that completing it would provoke a series of reactions, without not even try to face it, we simply make excuses to justify our lack of commitment, yet the goal to reach interests us in a particular way and within ourselves we admit that it would change our life considerably. We actually got used to doing it because we have learned this type of behavior since childhood, watching others bring up all kinds of excuses, and we don't find the courage to escape this perverse mechanism. Convincing ourselves that something is too difficult to accomplish, that it involves a greater risk than we are able to face, that it is crucial how long it will take and that criticism from relatives will be pressing, are only advanced excuses to avoid taking action. We certainly have the ability to let our selves speak and to choose what to believe in and what is right for us, and the very fact of having been in a certain way all our life must encourage us to say enough and to abandon. those beliefs that we believe are part of us and which instead are the armor that keeps us imprisoned. We recommend reading this book Sempreunagioia® which teaches us to react to our daily inertia with practical methods that allow us to know ourselves deeply, to live immersed in real reality and not in the fantasized, harmful and bearer of unhappiness.
